Not because something is wrong with us. Because what we feel is corrected before it is understood. Children are taught to question their own knowing. To replace what they feel with what they are told. And slowly, that quiet inner voice becomes something they no longer trust. How would our lives look if we were taught, from a young age, to trust ourselves - instead of trying to sound right? How many times have you agreed, changed, given in, or stayed somewhere against that feeling you couldn’t ignore? Take a moment with yourself. Not to think about what went wrong - but to feel into this: How much suffering could have been avoided if we were taught, as children, to trust what we feel before the doing, before the should - before we learned to doubt ourselves. xx Nuri Yew
